The site for this project was extremely narrow, only 4.40 m wide on one side, and already had an existing storage structure. The only viable option was to rehabilitate the existing building and develop vertically.
To fit the footprint while accommodating all the desired rooms and a small outdoor relaxation area—a delightful surprise for the client—we adopted an unconventional solution, integrating the staircase to minimize the loss of usable space. As a result, the residence features half-level intercalated floors, maximizing both functionality and spatial experience within the compact site.
