The site was designated for a second house, which meant the footprint could not exceed 84 sqm, including walls and the staircase. The clients wanted a generous home with three bedrooms and a basement playroom, all within this restricted footprint. To achieve this, we designed a sunken living room to enhance the sense of space, optimized the attic, and maximized functionality on every level.
