Velocita

Velocita is an artisanal gelato shop that combines ice cream and quick desserts with a relaxed and refined aesthetic experience. The space functions both for quick consumption and for light relaxation, either indoors or on the terrace.

The concept is based on the idea of “refined speed,” combining the efficiency of a modern gelateria with an atmosphere inspired by Italian corner bars, reinterpreted in a minimalist aesthetic. The color palette is warm and sunny—vanilla, caramel, and creamy white tones—while the furniture features subtle retro accents. Volumes are rounded, clean, and fluid, evoking freshness and delicacy.

The challenge was to create a bright and airy ambiance in a long, partially fragmented space. The solution involved a coherent treatment of the ceiling, integrating technical elements as part of the composition, and using a unified palette with familiar yet noble textures: marble, composite, natural wood, and satin-finished stainless steel. Modular furniture and a clear flow allow the space to adapt according to season and demand. Spot and diffused lighting contribute to a friendly atmosphere without harshness.
